On the behalf of the Athletics & Recreation Department at Bridgewater State University, the Events Management Staff would like to welcome you to our campus. While we realize that travel in New England can be very hectic at times, there are things that can happen on game day that are beyond our control. However, as part of our Hospitality Program we hope that the following information will make your travel and arrival to BSU as worry free as possible. Below you will find directions to our athletic facilities, a campus map and a list of contact phone numbers. Also is a list of phone numbers and locations of local eateries. Locker Room / Post Game Accommodations
All visiting teams will be issued a locker room upon arrival unless one is not available. If you require a locker room or space for a post— game meal please contact Fall Semester Erica Adams (508) 531-2257 or Spring Semester Brendan Adams (508) 531-2968 in advance.
ATHLETIC TRAINING / SPORTS MEDICINE FACILITY:
The Tinsley Center Athletic Training facility is available to visiting teams and is located in the Tinsley Center room 108. For Wrestling and Swim and Dive contests, the Kelly Gymnasium Athletic Training facility can be found on the lower level (room 004) opposite the entrance to the women's and men's locker rooms. The facilities are open 1-2 hours prior to the contest start time. The facilty for pre-match prep for tennis will be the Tinsley Center (room 108).
EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES:
Water refill stations/coolers will be provided at the contest site. Each student athlete and coach should bring a refillable/reusable personal water bottle with them. The BSU staff Athletic Trainer will also have ice, AED, splint kit, crutches and medical kit on home sideline/bench to use at their discretion.
PRE-GAME PREPARATION:
A Certified Athletic Trainer will be available in the Tinsley Center Athletic Training facility approximately two hours prior to the event. If an Athletic Trainer is not traveling with your team, please provide a kit with the needed supplies (and a note from your Athletic Trainer of what each S-A needs) and we will gladly take care of your student athletes pre event needs.If your team needs any special care, please contact us in advance. Please note: therapeutic modalities are not included for pregame preparation. For multiple day tournaments please reach out with any special needs in advance to determine if can be arranged.
COVERAGE:
A Certified Athletic Trainer will be on-site for all traditional season home contests.

• Upon arrival teams should be dropped at the front door. Busses and vans can then proceed to back of the building where ample bus and van parking is available. • Upon entering the Tinsley Center you will be met by a member of the Events Staff who will show you to your locker room. You will be given a code for your locker room.
Football Team should remain on bus and proceed to rear of the building for drop off where a Event Personnel will direct you to changing area.
